Kim - From the City to the Country Oct 3
Morning views in Pontevedra - sunrise, breakfast in the plaza, our morning prayer and beauty in the city before the Camino takes us back out into the countryside - and the first day that I needed my long sleeves! So grateful for this autumn weather finally!

We logged almost 9 miles today, beginning the Spiritual Varient of the Camino Portugese, through beautiful countryside, between rows of grapevines and along the coastline. We had a wonderful peregrino meal too - and now we rest our feet in Cambarro.

While on our walk today we stopped and toured the Benedictine Monastery of Poio

Feet up, relaxing after 9 miles on the Camino today

What a beautiful seaside town to rest our heads in tonight. Dinner was delicious and Dad even had 2 friends very very interested in his entrée.
