Abby: Day 10

SA2SOS Jul 29, 2015

Today we ate breakfast and headed to the Acoma Pueblo for a tour. Its amazing how different certain culture can be. Even though they live in the same state they are like they are from a whole different country(and culture which is sort of true). Fact: Some of the people there practice their religion AND Catholicism. Cool right! Then after a lunch at the café there we went onward to Petroglyph National Monument. On the way there a storm joined us and followed us all the way to the Monument. And so we stayed in the visitor center, bought a lot of items, watched a short movie, and completed my Junior Ranger. Then we hiked on a paved trail to get a geocache and view some Petroglyphs. Another fact: Petroglyph National Monument has a LOT of Desert Millipedes! Then we headed to Albuquerque to see Historic Route 66 and sightsee Old Town(from the car). Then back to hotel we went! We ate dinner while watching "The Last Alaskans" on National Geographic. Then my mom and I went down to the pool while Aunt Stacy stayed in the hotel room( probably thinking "finally some quiet time!" ). ; D Well, I'm in for the night! : O Write more tomorrow!
